In-Year Admissions (School Transfers)

St Thomas More Catholic Primary, A Voluntary Academy participates in the Local Authority’s Co-ordinated Admission Scheme for in-year admissions.

If a parent/Carer of a child on our roll wishes to apply for a transfer to another school, they must obtain a Common Transfer Form (CTF) from St Thomas More Catholic Primary. You can apply for up to three schools.

Parents/Carers should complete Section 1 of the Common Transfer Form and provide any other supporting information, prior to returning to St Thomas More Catholic Primary, who must complete Section 2 before sending the application to the Local Authority Admissions Team.

The Local Authority will manage the application on your behalf and will inform you of the outcome of the application in writing, within 15 school days including the reason for that decision. If it is not possible to offer a place at any of your preferred schools, they will give you advice on the statutory appeal procedure.   Details of the Co-ordinated Admissions Scheme and how in-year applications are managed can be seen at:
